Huebsch Services broke ground yesterday on an expansion of their 55,000 sq. ft. production facility. Huebsch is partnering with Hoeft Builders on the project, and the expansion will add approximately 15,000 sq. ft. to the current production facility. Once expansion is completed, Huebsch will be making further investments in new equipment and innovative technology. The building expansion and equipment investment will accommodate the growth Huebsch is experiencing regionally. Huebsch is also redesigning the production plant to improve working conditions for its employees with the goal of making jobs less physically demanding and providing a more comfortable working climate along with improving quality and customer service.
During the groundbreaking ceremony,
Eau Claire City Council President Terry Weld along with other city and county representatives spoke to attendees about the historical role Huebsch plays in the city of Eau Claire, the Vaudreuil family’s dedication to community service, and the commitments Huebsch has made to sustainable business practices.
“130 years ago, my great grandfather established a small commercial laundry business in downtown Eau Claire. Today, I’m very proud to be leading the company into its next 130 years,” said Jim Vaudreuil, Fourth Generation Owner and CEO. “The two additions that are part of this expansion project will have a huge impact on our operations.”
