Huebsch Services recently completed renewed certification by the Textile Rental Service Association (TRSA) as an industrial laundry that is hygienically clean for the processing of food safety uniforms. Huebsch received an outstanding 100% score overall.
TRSA’s Hygienically Clean Food Safety certification recognizes laundries serving the food manufacturing/processing industry that commit to cleanliness through third-party, quantified biological testing and inspection. This process eliminates subjectivity by focusing on outcomes and results that verify textiles cleaned in these facilities meet appropriate hygienically clean standards and best management practices for servicing animal processing, dairies, fruit/vegetable, bakeries, grain and other food and beverage industry segments.
The independent, third-party inspection confirms essential evidence that:
- Employees are properly trained and protected
- Managers understand legal requirements
- OSHA-compliant
- Physical plant operates effectively
Huebsch was first certified hygienically clean for food safety in 2016 and since then has maintained this high standard in support of its customers in the food processing industry. To maintain certification, Huebsch must also pass quarterly testing to ensure that as laundry conditions change, such as water quality, fabric composition and wash chemistry, laundered product quality is consistently maintained.
