“Huebsch is the type of company that changes a person for the better. ”

“Huebsch is the type of company that changes a person for the better. When I walked through the doors on my first day, I was not sure what to expect. But the minute I walked in not only was I welcomed into a professional business environment but also into a type of family that wants to see you succeed. I was able to not only accomplish so much, but I was able to build confidence and skills that are necessary to success. When it comes to internships, Huebsch is one place that should be on the top of anyone’s list.”

“The internship was by far the most educational work experience I have ever had, and I would recommend anyone looking for a serious internship that wants to learn to seek out Huebsch!”

“Huebsch is an outstanding company that puts you in a position to grow, succeed, and find yourself in a professional setting. The internship was by far the most educational work experience I have ever had, and I would recommend anyone looking for a serious internship that wants to learn to seek out Huebsch!

I became a part of the Huebsch family June 2020 as the sales intern. I was trying to find direction in what career I wanted to pursue. As a local, north side of Eau Claire raised kid, I knew of Huebsch through many friends and family members. I have always heard that they were a great company to work for and very professional. As I transitioned back to Eau Claire for the summer from college I was accepted for the sales internship. I got hands on experience for every single part of the business before I started on my own projects under a very welcoming and experienced sales team. I worked under the sales manager Klaus Bauer, who was unbelievably upbeat and excited for me to help the team. I found myself building knowledge and confidence every day I walked through the door. Huebsch gives you the reins to really get professional experience and they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. I constantly had questions and got every single one answered right away. When I needed help, the employees would make sure I was taken care of even when they hard their own jobs to do. I felt as though I was needed and that the individual projects, I was given to work on were productive and helpful. I have never been around a staff that was so welcoming and interested in me as a person. There is a plethora of opportunities within Huebsch that were provided to learn and educate myself that are seldom found elsewhere.

My internship was a real-life application of what I’ve learned in class. I learned more about sales, prospecting, the moving parts of a successful business, and customer relations than any textbook and professor could ever teach me. As I move closer and closer to getting my degree, I feel Huebsch has put me in a fantastic position to pursue a career in the business world. Huebsch has impressed me with how diverse and proactive they are within the community, servicing their customers, and improving their own products and practices. As a competitor myself, I am always looking to improve and Huebsch matches that type of mindset day in and day out. I am so proud and grateful to have had this opportunity with Huebsch and contribute to such an amazing and historic company in my hometown. I would put Huebsch atop the list for internships for anyone looking to develop the necessary skills to pursue a career in sales or business while at the same time building lifelong relationships and prospering you into a better person.”

“As a Huebsch intern you are part of the Huebsch family and treated as an equal.”

“Throughout my internship I have had a hand in a variety of projects and have seen how the business operates from many different angles. This internship has provided me the proper training and professional foundation for post-graduation. I am Happier with Huebsch because my internship turned into a full-time position that I couldn’t pass up.”

“I would recommend Huebsch to anyone looking for an internship because of the valuable experience, the inviting company culture, and their excellent reputation in the community.”

“I joined the Huebsch team in June of 2017 as a mixed sales and service intern. I split my time between the service and sales team to see where I would fit in best. I spent time training with the route service representatives and the sales team, and found myself gravitating towards sales. When Huebsch hired me on for the remainder of my senior year I had an opportunity to further immerse myself into the company and sales process. I got hands on experience shadowing the outside sales reps, prospecting for new business, and receiving continuous training. I feel very fortunate to have had this opportunity to work and develop myself during school. I was even more excited when I was offered and accepted a full time outside sales position with Huebsch in Eau Claire upon graduation.

My internship with Huebsch helped me develop and practice the skills necessary to begin a sales career. I had many opportunities to apply the knowledge I gained in the classroom to real-world situations and solve real business problems. I also met some really great people along the way who have given me insight to guide me along my path as a young professional. I would recommend Huebsch to anyone looking for an internship because of the valuable experience, the inviting company culture, and their excellent reputation in the community.”

“Huebsch isn’t afraid to invest in you as an intern and this gives you the opportunity to develop both your professional and personal skills and at the same time you are being valuable to the organization.  If I didn’t have to go back to the Netherlands, I would love to work for them!”

“I have experienced Huebsch as a very unique organization during the six months I was interning with them. I think this organization is very unique through its strong values which are deeply integrated throughout everything they do. Huebsch is always looking for sustainable solutions for both their customers and employees. I have experienced this during different moments of my internship. Huebsch isn’t afraid to invest in you as an intern and this gives you the opportunity to develop both your professional and personal skills and at the same time you are being valuable to the organization.

Interning for Huebsch will definitely give you some serious growth opportunities to start your career after you graduate and they have been hiring some of their interns after they graduate. If I didn’t have to go back to the Netherlands, I would love to work for them!”

“To anyone looking for a serious internship opportunity where you can have a real impact on the company’s processes and be constantly learning, regardless if you are a national or exchange student, I strongly recommend to choose Huebsch as an option where you will be considered.”

“Huebsch was one of the best experiences I had in my international exchange year program in Eau Claire. After implementing a project for the company as part of the course of Lean Manufacturing Systems that I was taking at UWEC, Cory Knutson (Production Supervisor) considered me for a great internship opportunity during the summer of 2016. As a foreign student, I experienced difficulty finding an internship opportunity. So, when Huebsch trusted in me, I was very motivated to bring the best of me and demonstrate the talent, quality, and leadership that Mexican engineers have.

I was given two main projects that involved operators’ training, and the development of paperwork for the Food Safety certification. However, I was always asked if I was enjoying what I was doing, which I considered very professional from the company because they cared about my opinion and progress along with my results. Since my responsibilities involved a lot of communication with floor workers to understand the process, I recognized teamwork as a big ability I needed to apply. From the very first day I felt welcomed in the plant with people coming to my work area to introduce themselves voluntarily. The ideas I was providing were very well received by my coworkers, what helped me to learn quickly about the company dynamics and to be able to implement the most possible valuable work for Huebsch in the short period of time (2 months) that my internship lasted.

At the end, I accomplished to build over 40 sheets of training material for the uniform production cells, and to basically finish all the first section of the Food Safety certification. I had a great input which was recognized by my supervisors and that made me feel very proud of what I was doing, but I could not have done it without the unique support of Huebsch coworkers as I mentioned. It is an amazing family feeling place that encourages everyone to respect and to get to know the people you are working with. Committed to accomplish quality service at all times without forgetting to support altruistic events of the region, Huebsch is a great place where you can both grow professionally and as a person. All these mentioned aspects make everyone motivated to bring the best of them with their respective positions.

To anyone looking for a serious internship opportunity where you can have a real impact in the company’s processes and be constantly learning, regardless if you are a national or exchange student, I strongly recommend to choose Huebsch as an option where you will be considered. In summary, you will not be treated as an intern but as a member of the Huebsch staff as you were already there for years before.”

“I would absolutely recommend Huebsch to anyone looking for a great experience in a very relevant, functional area of the apparel industry. You’ll learn so much!”

“Huebsch is a great company with a rich history and a bright future. It has been rewarding to be able to work for a company that has been a leader in the uniform and laundry business for as long as Huebsch has. Everyone is so dedicated to the company and the customers. They are always working hard to provide the best service possible while also finding new ways to grow and stay current.

My internship has been a wonderful experience. I’ve learned so much in terms of functional clothing, lean processes and communication with overseas vendors. I have been able to learn things I could not learn in a classroom and I know my experiences will help me tremendously in my apparel career. Huebsch really gives you the freedom to take projects in your own direction and make them everything you can. You definitely get out what you put in and I am grateful to have had the chance to work on so many dynamic projects. I would absolutely recommend Huebsch to anyone looking for a great experience in a very relevant, functional area of the apparel industry. You’ll learn so much!”
